My name is Justin and I am a Power Engineering student at ACCESS. I am 52 years old and was a flight attendant for 19 years before I lost my job due to the Covid pandemic. I also have a Financial Accounting and Investment degree. Power Engineering is a new world for me. Hi there, I’m Jason! I’m in my first year of the Power Engineering program at ACCESS. After a decade working in forestry, I was looking for a more stable career path. I’ve always viewed trades as a vehicle for one’s ambition, and a Power Engineering diploma with the diverse fields it leads to is the vehicle I chose! When I’m not learning about boilers, chillers, and water treatment (and more!) I like to get outdoors and enjoy our beautiful province. I Love to lend a hand so please give me a shout. Hello, my name is Shawn and I graduated from the Power Engineering (Stationary Engine Mechanics) program at ACCESS. I’m now active in my trade and I absolutely adore it. Every day I learn something new and I’m given the opportunity to gain the critical experience I need to grow professionally in the field. All the teachers in the program are extremely supportive and know what they are talking about.
